Privacy Policy

RenoarX (“the App”) is a VPN client for iPhone. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the App. It applies only to the RenoarX iOS application, not to any VPN server, subscription provider, or website whose URL you enter yourself.

Information we process

The App keeps as little data as it needs to run:

• Device identifier (HWID). A hash derived on-device from Apple’s vendor identifier and the device model. It is stored locally and shown in Settings. When you add or refresh a subscription, the App sends this identifier together with the device model and iOS version to the subscription URL you provided, so that provider can enforce a per-subscription device limit. It is not your Apple ID, name, or email.
• Subscription URL and server list. The link you paste and the server configurations downloaded from it are stored locally on your device.
• App preferences. Settings such as DNS, list layout, and ping results are stored locally.
• Server location for the globe marker. After a VPN connection starts, the App may resolve a server address and request coordinates from a public IP-geolocation service (ipwho.is) so the globe can show that server. This uses the server IP, not a profile of your browsing.

Information we do not collect

• We do not log, monitor, or store your VPN traffic, browsing history, or DNS queries.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks.
• The App does not use the camera and does not scan QR codes.

Local storage

Configuration, preferences, optional logs, and traffic counters are stored on your device (standard app storage and the App Group shared with the Network Extension). This data stays on the device, is protected by iOS, and is removed when you uninstall the App.

Network Extension

The App uses the iOS Network Extension (Packet Tunnel) to create a VPN connection. Traffic is sent to the server you selected in your configuration. We do not operate those VPN servers and cannot see the contents of that traffic.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data for advertising. There are no third-party analytics or ad SDKs in the App.

Data leaves the device only as needed to use the App: your subscription provider receives the request described above; the VPN server you choose carries tunneled traffic; ipwho.is may receive a server IP for the map marker. Those services have their own policies. We do not control servers behind a URL you paste.

Data retention

We do not keep a personal-data account for you on our servers. What the App stores locally is deleted when you delete the App. Your subscription provider may retain data according to their own policy.

Children’s privacy

The App is a VPN utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
